Social Media Day x Digital Adelaide

Updated: Aug 31, 2022

This two-day event has evolved over a number of years to become a keystone event in Adelaide’s digital marketing calendar. It’s origins lie with Social Media Day, launched by Mashable in June 2010, to “recognise and celebrate social media’s impact on global communication”.

Over the years the program evolved to include more content around digital marketing – and so Digital Adelaide was born. Together with Social Media Day, our goal has been to provide industry-leading information to upskill marketing professionals across South Australia.

Social Media Day and Digital Adelaide is especially beneficial for those that are new to the community, providing them a chance to network with, and learn from, established and successful members of the digital marketing community.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE HERE

If 2020 taught us nothing else, it’s that a strong grasp of digital and social technology is essential to being nimble in our modern world. Events such as the Australian bushfires and COVID-19 forced many businesses to completely restructure how they operate.

Content strategies have been flipped, new platforms have been mastered overnight and communication tactics have been overhauled. Businesses that embraced digital communication platforms and innovative approaches have been better able to keep their customer base informed and engaged. In turn, this has provided a greater chance of surviving and, in some cases, thriving in the face of adversity.

In 2021, the conference themes will centre around content and the customer journey, exploring how to connect with your customers and nurture your relationship with them.

The panel of marketing leaders speaking at the event will share their personal experiences, backed by real-life case studies for you to learn from. Plus, you’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions to gain the insight you need to build a powerful customer experience in your own business.

See you there!
